North Carolina Community Health Center Association Health Center Controlled Network

Description

NCCHCA is a recipient of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Health Center Controlled Network (HCCN) grant. As an HCCN grantee, we support participating health centers across North Carolina to improve quality of care and health outcomes by using health information technology. We provide specialized training and technical assistance to take advantage of economies of scale, including: group purchasing power, shared training and data analytics.

Our HCCN is comprised of 36 Participating Health Centers (PHCs) including Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Lookalikes (LALs) with over 201 practice sites, 9 mobile vans and 33 school based clinics located in 67 counties. In 2019, HCCN PHCs have provided community-based and comprehensive care to a total of 473,646 patients.
